Even if you don’t have a large space, there are plenty of ways to get your summer garden going!
Ten years ago, The Clean Bedroom opened for those looking to clean up and green up the bedroom. We have since grown into the premier resource for organic, allergy-free mattresses, bedding, and accessories, with sleep showrooms across the country. Our Austin, Texas location recently reopened as The Clean Bedroom & Home, and we are now looking to take over the whole house.
Today, indoor air can often be more polluted than outdoor air. We spend a lot of our time indoors, sleeping and at rest. Toxic substances in your immediate surroundings go unseen but yet they can pose a great threat to your health and overall well-being, often aggravating asthma and causing breathing difficulties.
Should you let pets sleep with you?
Our mission can’t stop at the bedroom, we know there are dangerous toxic flame retardants used in all home furnishings including carpeting and rugs, furniture, draperies, paint and home construction materials. We believe everyone deserves a healthier place to live, free of hazardous toxins.
Having a healthy home – and, as a result, a healthier body – includes establishing and maintaining earth-friendly standards in every room. Since the average adult spends one-third of each day in bed, the bedroom is the most frequently inhabited room of the house and a good place to start when it comes to creating a less toxic home environment.
“All this is enough to make you want to clothe your kids in hazmat overalls.” – Ginny Graves
Especially during the busy holiday season, taking the time to design a sleep-friendly bedroom environment increases your chances of waking up each morning feeling refreshed.
You spend one third of your life in bed, and creating an allergy-free bedroom translates into sleep-filled nights and sniffle-free days!
